Rebecca Grauer received her first violin lessons in Boston/Massachusetts at the age of three. She later continued her training with Lilia Felde-Ritz in Aachen. At the age of nine, she took part in her first competition. Numerous others followed.
After graduating from high school, she studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and with Prof. Géza Kapás at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Master classes in Germany and Hungary were part of her education. Among other things, she had the opportunity to work with Simon Standage on solo pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Her biography is particularly influenced by her studies at the University of Florida in the class of Prof. Dr. Janna Lower. Through her, Rebecca Grauer received new impulses for the interpretation of the Violin Concerto by Samuel Barber and the Chaconne by Bach.
Since completing her studies, Rebecca Grauer has given concerts in Germany and abroad, plays in various ensembles, and frequently appears on stage with her husband and pianist Peter Grauer.
